Friday, October 19, 2007 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Got behaviors? We can help! This presentation will outline some of the behavioral challenges that arise in dealing with children and autism. Behavior can serve any of a number of purposes for individuals with autism. Participants will learn successful strategies to assist with these challenging behaviors. These strategies have successfully been used with students ages 3-7 who have severe physical and/or cognitive disabilities. Everyone will leave with resource materials that they can immediately put into practice. With this help, individuals with disabilities can now have control over their learning and behavior so they can demonstrate their capabilities to others.
